California Judge Extends Ban on Social Security 'no-match' Proposal

On October 10 a federal judge in California ruled to extend the ban on the highly controversial Social Security 'no-match' proposal that is targeting immigrant workers. The 'no-match' law would require companies to fire workers after 90 days if their names and social security numbers don't match up within the SSA's system, which is known to contain literally millions of errors.
