Thank you for your support, the workers hit their petition goal of 500 signatures - and exceeded it - a day early! With your continued solidarity, Tom Cat workers will press on until their rights are respected!

Please take a moment to help Tom Cat drivers win equal treatment:

Solidarity needed! With your support, hardworking Focus members at Tom Cat Bakery got rid of a top manager that abused workers for thirteen years. They successfully defended against two attempts by the company to cut their health benefits.

Company executives committed to ending an illegal scheme where they shortchange a group of Tom Cat workers on pay, health care, and retirement benefits by designating them as employees of a company that no longer exists. Hopeful that Tom Cat management would act as promised, the workers showed tremendous patience and waited six months for them to compensate all workers correctly.

When it became clear that Tom Cat failed to deliver on its word, workers submitted a petition to management demanding compliance with the law and an end to placing workers in a false company. Instead of doing the right thing, Tom Cat and its private equity owners at Ancor Capital Partners have responded with a fierce anti-worker campaign led by a former Wal-Mart executive. Workers were threatened and interrogated over their involvement in the petition and the company tried to intimidate workers from posting their petition online to you, supporters of a sustainable food system.

Tom Cat workers know their rights, refused to be intimidated, and the petition the private equity owners of Tom Cat didn't want you to see is live. Please sign on and share!

Thank you very much for your solidarity.
